From what I have been seeing as good responses to your questions, you may not
want what I am sending you.  But, some time ago  I went through the exercise
of installing Seismic Unix ( R19) under cygwin and took some notes, which I attach.
Do not feel obliged to use them.. Please feel free to ask questions and thanks
for trying out Seismic Unix software.
