Is that R27 without any changes? Are you sure you were compiling with -D_POSIX_C_SOURCE=200112L and not -D_ISOC99_SOURCE?

I'm pretty sure I can fix the segfaults but I need a way to reproduce it on my machine or an ssh access to host where it shows...
