I have a question to SU community:
If anyone of you installed SU successfully on MAXOS Sonoma 14.4.1 (latest MacOS) I would appreciate if you could let me know which Makefile.config that you used.
Thank you in advance.

Hello all,
I was wondering if the real 2D seismic data of Nankai and Taiwan are still available online. when I run Madagascar, I get this error "Could not download "./Nshots.su" from "http://www.ahay.org/data/nankai/Nshots.su" ". I presume the link was removed. Any idea what was the problem?
Thanks
Hello friends,

Why is sufft giving ripple and why suspecfx different from sufft (figs

Please help me with this.
Thanks in advance.

Given picked stacking velocities, is there an easy way to grid and
visualise them?
If I pick every 100th CDP, I would like to see a full velocity model for
the line, in either time or depth.
Cheers
Glenn
Does anyone have a basic flow for PSDM?
Another user has asked about a detailed interval velocity model, and has
gathers that can be used.
There was an exercise a few years ago where people did PSDM on a land line,
which generated a velocity model.
I'll post a separate question on velocity interpolation and conversion.
Cheers
Glenn
To whom it may concern,
Greetings! I need help with the codes for residual moveout. I have done normal moveout correction. I have rms, interval velocities and corresponding depths for some selected cdps. As far as I found from sumanual paper on internet, I need to use surelan command for residual moveout but could not find any information regarding the input parameters and other necessary concepts. I need an image which shows the variation of velocities with different colors in each layer. Please help me out.
Thank you.

Dear Sirs,
I have a seismic data sampled at micro-seconds.
I load 3 files with :
segyread tape=mySegy.sgy > mySegy.su
Then I used:
surange < mySegy.su
As you can see in the attached log files, the one called box31.log contains
"strange" d1 and f1 values.
Please could you help me to understand why d1 and f1 are so big ?
The only one significant difference is that an01 and an31 are sampled at 33
micro-seconds while box31 is at 124 micro-seconds.
Thanks
Giulia

Hello,
Thank you so much for your consideration. I attached the screenshot what I got adding key1=sy. I also attached the range of my original file where sy is missing. I don’t have access to my computer right now, so I just attached the screenshot from my phone, I apologize for that.
Thanks. I am looking forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Elora

Hello Everyone,

I tried Key1=sy, key2=sx and key3=gx but noticed that I got gy values but gx and gy are same which is not supposed to be. I do not know the first value of gy. I request you to help me to set gy values.
Thank you.

Elora,
I am rather amazed about your question. The sushw program is very versatile in generating traceheaders for complicated geometry as well as using values from a textfile for traceheaders. If you have the values for sy in a simple textfile in one column, try a2b < your_text_file n1=1 > binary_file, followed by sushw < your_su_file infile=binary_file key=sx > your_amended_su_file.
Check results by applying sugethw < your_amended_su_file key=sx,sy,gx,gy output=geom > resulting_header_file.txt. That shoud result in a four-column text file
Good luck
Gerhard
