Dear Giulia,
Yes, you can merge your SU files as indicated. The traces of the resulting file can be renumbered with header parameter 'tracl' (or 'tracr') via:
sushw < onesection.su key=tracl a=1 b=1 > onesection_modified.su
You can check that operation with:
suedit onesection_modified.su
which displays the header values of the last trace of your file (type 1 to see the header values of trace 1).
You can then proceed with the SU to SEG-Y conversion if that is your goal.
Best wishes,
Michel

Dear Sirs,
I have some scanned seismic image I am converting in segy data format.
Having all sections the same number of time sample and the same sample interval, but of course different trace number, I need to have only one segy.
May I apply a command like: cat section1.su section2.su section.su > onesection.su
If it is possible, then I need to renumber the trace number and I think to use sushw module but I do not find which is the key word to renumber the trace number.
Thanks to All.
Giulia
