Does anyone have a basic flow for PSDM?
Another user has asked about a detailed interval velocity model, and has gathers that can be used.
There was an exercise a few years ago where people did PSDM on a land line, which generated a velocity model.
I'll post a separate question on velocity interpolation and conversion.
Cheers Glenn
Basic PSDM with velocity analysis : use rayt2d and sukdmig2d to compute 2D PSDM in SU. You get depth image gathers that you can convert in time (suztot) and perform a new velocity analysis, convert the new velocity model in depth with velconv adn migrate again. Stop... when the image gathers are flat enough. (the Deregowski loop) Start with a smoothed velocity model obtained after time imaging or even a constant average velocity model.
sukdmig2d also has options for migration velocity analysis but I'm not used to this procedure
